How to clear state "callCheck"

I bought a broken iPhone 4 that I repaired (I am a tech). It was originally in callCheck state here but I called Verizon and they said it was fine. I put it on my personal account and have been using it for a few days now with no problem at all.

It still shows up callCheck. I would have expected to flip to badESN by now. I was hoping I could get it to reset from callCheck to badESN and then back to cleanESN so I could resell it.

How does one clear the callCheck state? When I call Verizon they say there's nothing on file about the device and it's fine and clear.

Sometimes a device just shows up as unable to validate, which is why we suggest you to "call" the carrier to validate it.

While it isn't rare, it's not overly common to find a device that can't be validated. Unfortunately this is how the system works.
