I was just curious to know what Metro PCS PRL would be the best one when flashing the Verizon iPhone 4 to Metro PCS??
Also is the Verizon iPhone 4 EVDO, non-EVDO, or AWS? I think its a EVDO but I am not a 100 percent sure... |

It's EVDO, and there are several 3g prl files floating around for MetroPCS.

Okay awesome, also if I have already flashed a iPhone to Metro with an older EVDO PRL (non 3G) and used the OTA that Metro offers does the iPhone actually update to the latest PRL Metro is offering or should I manually update it with the latest 3G PRL?
I've also seen rich hathaways video showing web working for Cricket and it shows 3G in the upper left corner, now when he does decide to release the solution and how ever much it cost. Will that solution work for Metro? Using one of the 3G PRLs floating around? And if it does will Metro 3G even work with the Verizon iPhone. Of course if you have Metro 3G in your market. From what I've read Metro and Verizon both use the same 1900 MHz frequencies for there 3G network. Just curious about what routes to take with the whole iPhone flashing and always like to stay knowledgeable about these kind of things. Thanks for all the info. |

I don't know much about MetroPCS or the iPhone, but EVDO works the same way for all of the providers, except one thing... authentication methods.
No worries though, anytime a method of doing something is discovered, it will be released. |
